Happy Valentine’s Day!

4th Class

Intel Mini Scientist

The Intel Mini Scientist Exhibition is a competition for Primary school students in which they develop science related projects which are exhibited at fairs within their own schools. The competition, which is open to 4th, 5th and 6th class students, supports the Primary Science curriculum and is a great way to encourage enthusiasm and practical learning in the area of science.

Leave No Trace

We were lucky to be asked to take part in the “Leave No Trace” workshop as part of our Green School initiative. We loved getting to go outside and explore the school garden every week, learning how important it is to take care of the environment.

We spent time in class exploring Egypt! We worked very hard on our poster projects and PowerPoint presentations. We also learned the poem “Melvin the Mummy” and performed it at assembly.

We wrote our own spooky stories for a “ghost story” afternoon at Halloween. We wrote our stories in partners and had to think of scary adjectives, creepy scenes and crazy characters to include in our stories.
