On Sunday, 24th of April, some of our class, along with 1st class, 2nd class (O'D) and 6th class went to Dundrum Town Centre. We were there to perform our 1916 song for our parents and anybody else who wanted to listen. We also dressed up in our 1916 outfits too! It was great fun to mark 100 years since the Rising began!

In English, we were reading about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and answering some questions about the story. We then decided that it would be a great idea to create our own chocolate bars. We had to design the covers and also come up with a catchy slogan to draw people in. There were some great names and a lot of space-themed bars!

We've been working on Europe over the past two weeks. We played matching games with the capitals and countries. Then we had to fill out a blank map of Europe and use our atlases to help us. Finally, we each got a country to research and at the end of the week we got to present our information to our groups. We even had some tiramisu!
